Re: Your hydro sprayer will never clog again!
Good tip.
I use lots of powders on commercial and find that some need help to dissolve as you mentioned. For me, I will often mix the jugs prior to leaving the shop or if it has to be mixed at the site, I will use a plastic paint mixer on my corless drill to mix it up.

To heck with the drill, just cut your siphon tube so it is at least a half inch off the bottom, and never a worry again. Then you can Sell the drill on craigslist for 20 bucks and take you wife out to dinner.

I might try it, but that would only work on a level tank....tilt it while spraying and that tube might still get powdered up, wouldn't it? I opt for fully dissolved mixtures, but I like the simple approach to a common problem...pretty slick.

No , I tip mine forward all the time, just cut it short enough that it is off the bottom and never a worry , Not had any issues in over a year now. Before I was getting clogged up all the time.
I just want you to sell the drill, You need 20 bucks, for a night out. Please do It Milspec.

I think this is why Joe sells liquid pre-spray!
I've discovered over the last few month what a PITA powders are by switching to liquids for what I use 99% of the time.

I agree, liquids are far easier to deal with. The only powder I still throw is Extreme Clean or Redline on certain commercial jobs. If not for those, liquids all the way.
