My pump lost pressure
I'm sure you've heart that one before Eddie. What troubleshooting steps should you take before taking the TM in for repairs or looking at manual:D
Re: My pump lost pressure
I'm not a pro like, Eddie but I have lost pressure a few times in the last 20 years. lol
For me it's usually one of three things that are the cause.
1) No water supply connected. I know pretty obvious and usually the first thing you check., but if you do run the pump dry causing loss of pressure, you have introduced air into the system (which also happens if you run your rinse chem jug dry). So getting your pressure back usually isn't as simple as connecting the water supply again, although the first thing you do. :DYou then need to re-prime the system, which usually only requires continually keying the wand, sometimes for several minutes.
2) Well, I guess number 2 was covered in 1, since I already mentioned getting air in the system. lol
3) Would be when my water seals go bad in pump. But for me this doesn't just happen out of the blue. As the seals start to deteriorate you get signs it's happening, which usually are a bouncy needle on your TM PSI gauge, and you may also notice some erratic pressure before seals go out totally. Both of which will start showing up weeks or even months before the seals go bad....That's usually my sign I need to replace seals soon.
I hope this helps, good luck.

Re: My pump lost pressure
Make sure you have water to the pump
Then take the check valve cap next to high press out hose pull check valve out then turn the motor over check for water flowing out if it . If not then most likely it is the plunger / high and low pressure seals. Check for water leaking between head and body of pump.

And don't forget to check after the machine for clogged jets, screens, check valves or bad quick connects etc.
