I've been using this great encap as a spotter and give away.
A while back I had given spotters away with every cleaning with free refills. They were Vac-away products, not very impressed since their HP encap product blew up in my truck. I have been using a Product from DSC to refill. Anybody use this line of products, They have some I really like. This Encap or bonnet solution is called Spin-Vac-Plus. It's really helping me on call back re-occuring stains- hasn't let me down yet. If I suspect something is going to rear it's ugly head I saturate it down with this stuff diluted ( I use 4 oz per half gallon). Best part is it's non toxic, biodegradable, safe and green. It has tea tree oil as one of it's ingredients so it sanitizes as well smells good a kills bacteria at the same time. I had a bunch of wool wall to wall and area rugs today. I was out of the stuff I used to use. I mixed up some spin vac plus and extracted everything looked great. When I was supposed to switch to the higher ph stuff for the synthetic carpets I said what the Hell lets give it a whirl- worked great. My green customers love it- ph is mild great on wool! They also have a Tea Tree sanitizer disinfectant called NOKIMDED, works great- non toxic and all natural too. I think they might send you free samples if interested.

HP? As in hydrogen peroxide?
Left in a warm/hot van could cause it to explode.

Not familiar with the product, but tea tree oil can irritate skin....rashes in some people. Not to mention, it is an "oil" so how does that rinse out cleanly?
If you say it kicks butt...great endorsement, but I have no experience with it.
As for that HP based Encap, it is strong stuff and will blow up in a hot van over time. Stuff does work well, but the smell was a "little off" for my taste when I used it.

Never had a problem with the 27% aqua silk, this stuff coagulated and erupted like a volcano! all over the van floor!

Tea tree oil is more like a solvent if you ask me. No problems with it re-soiling. Allergic reactions? I guess people can be allergic to almost anything. I have applied it topically as an antiseptic, never a rash. Some people are sensitive to certain botanicals.

Have you ever used Soils n Oils Encap?
I think it works better than any other I've tried, and you only need 4 oz to a Gal, rather than double that of the product you mentioned.
Better and cheaper is always good.

You are correct on that particular brand of encap. That Aqua-silk is buffered to be more tolerant of temperatures and my guess is that Vac-away is using an industrial peroxide not buffered. I had a gallon on the shelf in my basement that swelled badly and had to be vented to keep it from blowing the cap.
The tea tree oil does have a nice scent...keep us posted on that product.

I have used both, I prefer the DSC SpinVac Plus for many reasons.

S/O/E is by far the best crystallizing polymer out there. I've found the surfactant needs heat to be most effective. A lot of guys that claim it doesn't work well do not use heat.
