ShoreBest 2790
I just ordered my second case of it.........the first case lasted a good 8-10 months, and I do a fair amount of hard surface cleaning, using it a lot of the time.
Just wondering if anyone else ever got some and is using it?

Really?...........you smelled it, or that just based on hearsay, Mo?
Altho stronger smelling than DfE approved products, I never really thought it was that strong smelling. And the customers are usually the best judge, and I've never had anyone mention it.

Never used the stuff, but can't find any negatives out there either beyond the claims of odor.
The makes of that product are concrete gurus, so they certainly know their stuff. If it was available local, I would be trying it out. One of these days, I probably will order some.

"Claims of odor", this is the first I'm hearing of this...weird. I've used products that smelled 10x worse and didn't work a 1/10 as good many times before.

I have never tried it but I have always heard guys say good things about it. One of these days I give it a shot. I always order my product or pick it up locally, but they don't carry it or would have given it a spin.

I've never heard of it til now, but the before and after picture in their website is very impressive, out of curiosity, how much do you charge for driveway or walkway cleaning Dave ? And do you use spinner or just pressure wash it with your TM ?

I actually bought a gallon a few years back and don't use because it smelled so strong. I believe the guy the makes it is in AZ. Its possible he changed it so its not so strong.
Re: ShoreBest 2790
I'm almost positive, it's not the same as the stuff you tried years ago, Mo.
And I say that because Ken (Who is not the maker of SB products, but rather just the Western state distributor), told me 2790 had been reformulated over a year ago, and was no longer was considered "a hazardous material" by the shipping company's like UPS. So not only did it become less expensive to ship, it also was made safer and less strong smelling.
It's a bargain at $92 for a case, and shipping to me was about $30.

Haha funny Question, and I have no idea on that one because I normally use it indoors on T&G.
Guess that would be a good question for, Ken..

Honestly I don't do much concrete cleaning........but when I do I either use the spinner or my portable 2700 psi pressure washer, depending on what's best for the job situation.
But when it comes to pricing, I'm waaay higher than the typical .15 s.f PW guys............I won't bother driving to a job for that little, never mind doing it. lol

Re: ShoreBest 2790
Pressure washers in this area get paid Mcdonald's burger flipper wages, so there would be now way that a carpet cleaner would perform that service.
I am actually expecting a lot more tile work this winter, so I would be interested in trying this stuff....I guess I will have to order up a case and see for myself.
