I realy wanted glad pads but ccsop was out of them again.  I went back to a link that was posted about some blue micros but they were out too.

Good old reliable directmopsales.com had the baby blue micros. They were definitely thicker than the ones I had order before maybe they changed the blend or I forgot how nice they were new. They spun really nice on my Orbot and as usually I received them really quick.

I think ill go back to Challeger for my cotton pads

Cool, always wanted to try thos, but I use pads so little I've never ordered them....let us know how they work.

What I really want to try is the "Mr. clean sponge type pads" for hard surface cleaning. There's a name for them which I can't remember now, but they are made from that Mr. Clean sponge material.

I don't like the companies that force you to purchase a packet of 10 of pads you've never tried before

Do you use the sponge pad after the spinner?

The blue micro pads are great....I like to use them to dry and buff tile with. They hold up pretty well too, although they do seem to be a little difficult to clean up after usage compared to a glad.

80% of what I use is the blue mf's with scrub strips Smile
then glads/superzorbs for really bad areas or spill removal

I don't remember these blue micro being as aggressive as the ones I bought before. The machine feels like its running 100 percent cottons. It also looks like the infill is stiffer too.

Here it is after on wash and one cleaning with it

All that fluff in the middle is what causes it to run rough. The face attached to the pad driver is moving right along with the orbit but the bottom side on the carpet is a delayed reaction due to the fluff in the middle giving .

It is a NASA approved scientific fact, no one is allowed to disagree.

As soon as the inside padding wears down it will probably look like the older one and be less aggressive as well

I normally just use glad pads Pete. Have you tried the wool pads from Bonnet pro?

The one in the bottom picture will clean better than the one in the top. Best way to explain is a sponge will clean a plate better than a brush. Just more surface material.

Manufacturers are using foam because it's cheap and it makes it light years easier to sew. I've found this out by making my own.
