Well I just bought this machine https://www.janilink.com/bonnet/category-html had them add a carpet brush and a gallon of "bone dry encap chem" to try out as well. I've mentioned this machine here before but now I have actually purchased it, should have it by friday. I'll take some pics, and do a short video as well and give some honest feedback. I bought it to replace my Edic 17inch 175 which also had a solution tank mounted and i have the carpet brush as well, this on just has a spray system as well, for $950 it is the least expensive machine of this type out there that you can buy new that I know of. Might be a good alternative the the mytee EC17 rotary encap machine $950 compared to $1799 I know that EC17 is pretty nice though but just can't spend that much right now.

To some extent Yes. This machine I'm getting is basically just to replace my current 175 rotary which already had a solution tank mounted on it and i also have the carpet brush, only difference is along with the new machine also having a solution tank it also has a spray system. I'll never NOT have a 175 with a solution tank, carpet brush and pad driver.

I agree with you Kevin, having a 175 available is like having a Swiss army knife when camping. They are just so useful that you really do need one.

I have been planning on replacing my old Minuteman for a few months now, but just not ready to pull the trigger....have to make some room in the garage first.

Ok so as promised here is that machine i got from Janilink, Well built solid machine weight is 88Lbs, Check out the video I made for you guys to see and let me know what you think. Should serve its intended purpose quite well. Not sure if i'll use the spray system on it that much but it is there if i want to https://youtu.be/cDV7iDNiivM

Wow, that is a bargain for that machine Kevin...great find. I would put an inline filter in the hose instead of the tank (easier to remove) and the warranty is first class all the way.

I think if that sprayer can push encap well enough, you found a great tool!! You may have also found me my next 175...cigars all around.

I just went to their website for more information and had to chuckle a little at their video. They must be the only tool builder in the game that calls encap solutions "shampoo".

Some of the other boards would go crazy and storm the distributor with wands and blocking tabs over that verbage. It was sort of refreshing.

Just spotted something else too, do those wall protector wheels extend farther out than the handles?

In the video demonstration, they never did get the wheel to meet the wall. They were always at an angle to give enough room for the handles to avoid scraping the wall which sort of defeats the value of those guide wheels.

Great Idea "put an inline filter in the hose " Why didn't I think of that, thats a quick easy think to do

Good observation there, That never occurred to me, I don't think they do. However I will be breaking it in today, I have a 7 bedroom beach rental house to do this morning. But i don't think it will be an issue anyway because I'm always at an angle anyway when riding along the wall with my other 175, but with that the positioning of those wells might be an the real issue. I'll let you know

Sounds good Kevin.....I sure wish I could say "beach house" when I looked at my schedule. Must really rough, eh? Laughing

Curious question for you. How much trouble do you have with tanning oils and lotions in the carpet and upholstery? Not to mention the sand levels.

Well the machine worked like a charm the wheels do ride along the wall nicely while still letting you get all the way to the base board, but they don't always ride along the wall of course depending on your angle, but no machine would unless you had wheels all the way around it anyway
