New Website coming

The video is a great strategy. Wordy content it a must for google ranking. A modern looking website can make a world's difference. I can build a website in a day but getting it ranked is a different story. You must have a lot of seo work done to get a website to stay on page one.

Well, it is up.  If you go to the website, you will suffer through the worst video since your driver's ed. days.  The only saving grace is that it is very short.....thankfully.

Does it provide much content....nope.  
Does it sell the company....not really.  
Does it make me look professional....Gawd no.  
Does it get me to stand out....not really in a good way.

What it does do is accomplish 3 things:

1.  I wanted people to see and hear the person they will be working with.  It does do that.  The fact that the guy is a dork who flips his head around like Christie Brinkley without hair when he talks, is just part of it.

2.  I wanted to plant the seed that cleaning is more than just about the appearance.  Spraying with store bought cleaners can improve the appearance, but a professional cleaning does much more.    

From this platform, I plan to produce a video for each goal with greater detail and then also  use the triangle with symbol as a window decal or bumper sticker.  Something to help build some company recognition.

3.  I wanted to have some visual content in the form of video since none of my competitors have that.  Hopefully, it will set me apart a little and build some interest.

Oh, and it was discounted due to my less-than-thrilling view of it.

So, be ready to pluck out your eyes and hear neighborhood children scream for their Mothers when you click on my website.

I thought you did fine. Nothing wrong with your voice, how you sound, or your body language in the video.

But...... Do you REALLY wear booties while you are cleaning, and not after you are finished?

The homeowners of the house were freaking out that we would be wearing shoes in their restored home...especially as it was raining when we arrived. It was a compromise that I am hoping most people would not catch.

Clearly, a carpet cleaner would catch it, but hopefully nobody else. Hell, the wand wasn't even live and I think I forgot to trigger it or I triggered it incorrectly. The camera had me all screwed up.

I think you were a little to critical of yourself Rob. It looked and sounded very professional. Maybe it was just me but the sound quality when you spoke was a little off. There was an echo or like you were talking into a can.

You showed your equipment at the beginning of the video. It would have been nice if you were standing in front of your wrapped truck at the end and maybe waving a little faster   Thanks for sharing that

The echo was caused either by the all marble kitchen or else there was a mic problem after the rain. It does sound weird.

I am not going to live down that wave....most commented on part of the video.

I at least know what not to do in the next videos.

I took the feedback and had them make some changes.  We worked on the volume a little, added the chess piece symbol inside the triangles to match the website, and we even sped up the final scene wave.

End result:  Better, but I am still a boob.

Yeah that does sound better and the wave looks natural. It doesn't look like the video was sped up.

Not sure if its my PC but the page seems to be taking longer to load.

I would remove the flash of the Castle Defenders logo cause that's just slowing down the loading of the page. The logo loads first and then the video.

Again it maybe my connection so maybe we can get some input from others on the time its taking to load.

Since the main focus of the page is the video. Have the video in the position of the wand that way we don't have to scroll down to view the video.

Since your main focus of this page is residential. I would replace the "areas served" part with two recommendations from your female customers. You can put the areas served at he bottom of the recommendation part.

I used my phone to check out the site and the video is not in auto play mode
