Rob help with the Orbot Please
I ended just buying a replacement motor from HOS from my Orbot. The wiring for the new motor is different. The wiires that you connect to the bus near the lower part at the handle on the old motor are color coded.
The new wires are all black except for the green ground wire. The black wires are numbered 3-6 and there are two solid black wires. Wires 5 and 6 are pig tailed and taped together so the dont connect to anything.
Can you unscrew the two screws on your electrical housing on your machine and check to see if you have the colored wired from the motor or the black wires. I hope I explained this correctly Ill post some pics later

Pictures will help, but I think I get the question.....I will go check.

Sorry Rob I have not seen the hos until 2 wks ago. One of my customers has one for sale. Never been in one so guess I'm not much help on this one.

No worries Rob ACE. Cleaning an elephant sounds like a "big" job
My machine is so old the electrical tech at HOS wasn't familiar with the way it was wired. You have a separate circuit for the motor, heater and sprayer. I paid 460.00 for this new motor and I don't want to risk frying it

Re: Rob help with the Orbot Please
It takes a lot longer to clean an elephant than it does an apartment. Something about it weighing the same as a city buss and able to out-run you makes a difference.
Maybe I should try to encap them?
