Been around the century mark for the last 2 weeks. I am leaving now to clean a commercial building which will take about 7 hours.....the heat index is 111 right now. Will still be in the mid-90's all evening. Forecast is even worse for the next 2 days.

Wrong kind of weather to drive a direct drive van without air conditioning. Mad

I just got home....damn it was hot. About 3 hours into it my can of WD-40 blew up sitting next to the TM and my rear view mirror fell off the windshield.

My kestrel said it was 127 degrees inside my van with the TM roaring and all the doors open. Wasn't much better on the drive home, but I am impressed that nothing broke down.

Probably just sleep in now since the forecast says 100 degrees again and I am not in the mood for it.

Heat index was 111 today and expected to hit 115 tomorrow....had the electricity at my house flicker twice already and has me worried.

Wow, I just couldn't function in that heat, I'm from Scotland....we get a tan in the shade. Summers in the North west of England where i Live at the moment are normally around 70c , I can just about handle that!

Just got done with a pull and reinstall last week. 112 in the shade. But with help from a couple of my guys, it got done. First time installing in a Nissan NGV high top it came out really well.

We finally cooled down after a heavy downpour, only hit 88 today and feels nice. I did see that the weather geeks are forecasting unusually warm weather all the way through November this year.

That part I like a lot.

Its been a heavy monsoon this month. Its been raining every day for about two weeks. I saw a lightening bolt strike a pine tree and blow it up. The splinter flew about 30 yards from the tree

I met a really nice couple from Nebraska last week in Clearwater Florida, they told me about the weather and I told them about you Bob, and they said "have mercy on his soul" laughing

They were there because of the weather and they said that the flight was $ 188 one way ? That's cheap, isn't it ?

His wife gave my wife her phone # and told us if we're ever in Nebraska to call them.

Mo, yes we passed that stupid storm on our way out of Vegas to Texas last week, actually when I called you, we just passed the storm.

Nebraskans are known for our blind obsession for college football and being polite. That air cost is about right, we get really good deals flying East out of Omaha via Atlanta.

If they happen to need a cleaner, don't be shy about referring me if they live on the Eastern part of Nebraska. Rolling Eyes

Used to know a retired deputy there, that sent me pictures of his hunting camp in the mountains. Was a beautiful sight to see.

It was our turn with 115 degrees weather yesterday, and 90+ degrees today with a lot higher humidity today, I'm absolutely not thrilled with the heat and I know this heat is going to linger all the way to September or may be even October because it's coming in late !
Even the coast is getting their 100 degrees weather, crazy !
