I'm Homeeee !

I just got back last night from Indonesia, couldn't be happier to be back home, sorry I didn't tell you guys before I left, too damn busy getting everything ready and packing up.

Being here 18+ years, it was like going to a foreign country, it was rainy season there, it was raining a lot, temperatures are always between 75 - 85 degrees with humidity between 80 - 100 %, no lotions needed, lol. The mosquitos are almost eating me alive

As a person who spent 17 years bounding from one country to the next with the military, I know how you feel. Home is not always where you are from, but where you feel comfortable and no matter how much turmoil there might be, it always feels good to come back.

Glad you had the opportunity to go.

I don't personally like a lot of traveling. It wears me out.

Welcome back Dipy bet it was good To see yoir dad again. How was the traffic compared to LA?

The second picture, the left side of my car where all of the motorcycles were, that's the left turning lane ( keep in mind they drive on the wrong damn side of the road there, lol ), so these motorcycles were clogging up the lane to get in front of all the cars
The 3 wheelers ( they call them "bajaj" ) were often driving on the wrong side of the road ( right side ) to get in front of the cars and motorcycles.
The worst one is when the road is jammed which happens all the freaking times, 3 lanes road will be 5 lanes of cars where it's inches between each car's side view mirrors.
What do you think ? Which one is worse ? LA or Jakarta ?
The most bizarre thing is you would think there are lots of accidents ? I only see 1 fender bender during my 4 weeks there, I only see 1 road rage when I was there and that was me

Looks like an easy place to commute if you drive a large truck...with cattle guard.
