Love this thing, gives me square footage of a room in a flash, no more bending down, only use the tape measure for area rugs now. Highly recommend this.

I have one from Bosch, very handy on commercial as it goes out 400 feet. I don't use it on residential other than shooting an estimate of how much hose I will need since changing to flat pricing. So far, flat pricing has worked out well for me.

It has been a couple of years, but I think it was around $160. I never learned all the fancy features of it, but it shoots a great tape laser from end of the job to the other on even the largest commercial jobs. Mine has been replaced by this one...265 ft with less features. All you would ever need.

Hey el diablo, have you double checked the accuracy of that iegeek measuring by comparing it with regular tape measure ?

Yes, accurate to like a 1/16 of an inch. Much faster than the Bosch, much less money. Very professional looking when giving estimates. Figures out the square footage instantly. Read the reviews, a home inspector replaced all the Bosch units with these.
