Favorite new customer experience
I had an expected small job today that came up last minute. It was supposedly due to a new puppy making a mess in the hallway. When I got there, her husband had moved all the furniture off the carpet throughout the house. Furniture was stacked up in the garage and tiled floored kitchen. The job turned into a whole house clean (4 bedroom, full basement, an office, living room, couple of rugs) but with all the furniture moved out of the way, I was able to knock it out in 90 minutes....even dried it. It got even better when I met her at work to settle up, she got me another job with her co-worker in 2 weeks.
That is how it should be all the time in a perfect world. Sunny, 60 degrees, organized customers, good tickets....but it is now supposed to be flurries and a high of 28 on Sunday. This weather is killing this business, it just never feels like Spring long enough to get people thinking about cleaning. Still, although just one job today, it was better than expected when I went to sleep last night. I am even seeing a really good jump in visits to the website this week, so either they didn't like the site or else they are lurking in the weeds until the Spring weather finally decides to stay for more than just a day or two.

That's a nice surprise Bob. This winter is a stubborn one. I think we finally hit spring here high 68 and low 40.
The increase in traffic is a good sign hopefully that means there is some jobs in your future.

Well, there can't be less at this point. In this region (maybe elsewhere as well) June and July are dead months, so there is only 2 more to go before the next dry period. They need to be good ones to get this year moving. There are signs that they might well be, but it has a hollow feel to it when I am scraping the ice off my windshields.
Re: Favorite new customer experience
We hit 90 degrees yesterday and today, I HATE it already ! The only good thing is my schedule is pretty booked this week.
