The weather doesn't seem to be slowing me down....

The weather doesn't seem to be slowing me down....
Usually by this time in the year, it's frosty and cold in the morning. We have seen only a few frosts so far, and people still trickle in the calls.
I'm not complaining. It's nice to keep busy and keep money rolling. I'm spending a ton of money getting that machine complete for Spring.
My wife said that she heard it was supposed to be a warmer winter. That sounds good to me if it is. I'd like to keep busy and still feel my finger tips!

Re: The weather doesn't seem to be slowing me down....
We have been doing the normal Nebraska roller coaster with 40 degree shifts from one day to the other. A couple of inches of snow followed by 70 degrees the next day and then bottomed out to 41 for a high the next. It is enough to drive a cleaner insane without a heated shop. I have been getting calls, but they all want immediate action and I can't do that anymore so I can't get the jobs....sucks.
According to a meteorologist buddy of mine, it will be a warmer than average winter, but also much wetter so either rain or snow depending on location. I like the warmer winters, but not so much the snow episodes. Time will tell which it will be.

Sounds like the post office is killing your business.
Sucks, indeed.

It has killed it completely right now. Finding a balance just doesn't seem possible the way things are rolling.
