Pacific Steamex Tsunami Video
This is a video I made a while ago. The lighting isn't great, the carpet came out much better than it looks in the video. (But don't we all say that?)
Re: Pacific Steamex Tsunami Video
Why don't you use the on board pre-sprayer?

Re: Pacific Steamex Tsunami Video
Because it's awkward for residential and I'm not sure about the dilution ratios yet. I need to figure that out.
Re: Pacific Steamex Tsunami Video
I was just playing, I used a SD for years, there are 2 achilles heals of the system IMO...
1) The "pre-sprayer" it's a total joke in ANY fashion they've devised of it (keep doing it the way you are)
2) The hook ups/ pump outs.
Major problem just waiting to happen.
ie; busted aerators from old crusty hard water faucets, loosening hose clamps, bad plumbing, and the waste line somehow falling out of the sink/commode where you left it.
All leading to flooded, kitchens, bathrooms, laundry room, and the ever popular "OH $#!t" sprint back from the machine to the spot you hooked up because you SHOULD have water at that business end and you don't, which just means you have a HUGE mess to clean up somewhere in the house!
On the pus side, it cleans great, and I made A LOT of money of those little suckers, using NO FUEL!

Re: Pacific Steamex Tsunami Video
Agreed, there are some things you have to watch. I haven't had any issues so far. But I don't use it 100% of the time either. Doing mostly VLM cleaning. But it does a great job when I need a good flush.
I avoid a lot of problems that you described hooking up to a laundry room sink or shower head. I always go that route first when it's available. I also am able to use this device in a lot of homes avoiding disconnecting the aerator:

BTW, I have one just like in the video minus the glide for sale if anyone's interested. $850. At least 100' of hose included.

Re: Pacific Steamex Tsunami Video
Agreed...never had the waste line fail on my Demon over the years, but I did have an aerator let go before on the sink. CleanImage is making a wise decision.
You forgot about the stair and upholstery tools...really not effective. Like you say though, it made me a lot of money and gave me really good results...it has its place in this industry, still use it from time to time on flooded basements.

I still like our cfx, kind of the same deal
you hook up to a faucet, and run the pump out to the toilet
cleaned a lot of homes with that little thing before we had our first tm
but man you better be careful the pump out doesnt slip out of the toilet, we would strap it to the toilet seat
