Nice we have two guys with the Vario and both like it.  On board sprayer is faster and perfect for open areas the only problems is that it doesn't allow for dwell time.

Speaking of on board sprayer

I prefer on-board solution delivery, it seems like the encap works better that way compared to using a pump-up and then running the machine over it....just dries too fast.
Yes, I think on board spray systems weather it be a 175, op or CRB is a must have. My 175 has solution tank and my crb has a spray system i got from excellent supply It allows me to connect a 50ft solution hose from my Mytee big boss 5gal battery sprayer right to the crb. The Vario I just got "New" for $1500 has no spray system I could have got the Vairo 2 with spray system for $2400 but and extra grand for a solution tank and pump??? I'll buy a solution tank online for under a $100 and have shower fed instead of spray, looking for a carpet brush for the Vairo found this but description of it doesn't say carpet brush so i have to get some clarification on that

That brings up an interesting question.....does encap really require a dwell time?

I don't use that method all that often, but I never saw the need to let it dwell. In fact, it seemed to work better for me when I didn't.

also found this which is listed as a oreck carpet brush but that won't fit on a vario

op/orbital/osilation machines - Page 3 Empty I've come to a conclusion

Post by kevinj6121 Sat Dec 05, 2015 11:42 am

Well, I've come to a conclusion. Not a fan of having to clean a bunch of pads after using an op machine, i either have to clean them manually at home of go to a laundry mat, place cause not washing them in my home machines. Although I like the Vario machine I will be selling it. My second conclusion is I am fine with just owning and using my portie, 175 and CRB, may throw an oreck orbiter into the mix but thats it. Any takers on a Vario

I know exactly how you feel Kevin. I used to drag a bag of about 30 bonnets down to the local laundry mat at the end of each day as well.....stinking of cat piss much of the time.

I didn't care for the added hour to my day nor did people care for my stinky bonnets. It led me to my portable and then to my truckmount.

There are many ways to clean a floor, but you have to find the method that fits your style.

At least you gave it a shot Kevin. Any other reason for selling besides the fact that you have to wash pads?

I see a truckmount in your future

No, that about sums it up, I despise washing them dam pads afterwards. But for those that don't mind it is a good machine and does work well. Some make me an offer i can't refuse, lol

I still have a stack of bonnets in the basement and I will still use that method when the situation calls for it, because like you said, it does work well.

I guess being a cleaner doesn't mean you like doing laundry. Very Happy

Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy  Like Rob said you may as well keep it to use when you really need it but I guess you can use the 175 too. Do you think the Vario cleans better that the 175?
