Re: slate cleaning
I always find videos interesting.....ever try swinging that spinner side to side like a rotary?
Re: slate cleaning
I have the same spinner....recovery isn't the best, but it gets the job done. You just have to pay attention to the nylon ring. I actually find going side to side recovers a little better, but it might just be my ring.
Re: slate cleaning
Yeah that mytee spinner is sitting in my garage now due to that water recovery, Mo if you want it, it's yours ! Just come and pick it up, I need space in the corner of my garage for other sh!t I have, lol.

Re: slate cleaning
water recovery bad, not khakis they are cargo light weight/ hiking type pants and those are trail shoes lol, also not me in the video. usually forward and back when doing tile.
I hate the tool but it gets the job done, the SX is much better but just isnt worth 900$ at this point for me.
That one took a bit to set up, water access was on the roof of the building so the maintenance guy had to connect and drop a hose down from 10 stories, this is the middle of downtown seattle right by the waterfront.
Once set up it was over $400 in 1 hr.

Re: slate cleaning
I have the same view on the tool. After having my SX get stolen, I ended up with the Mytee. It gets the job done and since I don't do a lot of tile, it gets me by.
