Caked up gunk in pre-filter box.
In my back up van, I took my pre filter box out and found out some gunk ( not a lot ) but they are caked up, I tried regular water and hot water, hot water helps but not all the way, do you have any suggestions to clean that entirely ? Any chemicals I can use ?

I thought that was the point of having employees?

That maybe but I've found that if you want it done right you have to do yourself.milspec6 wrote:dp1 wrote:Not yet Ed, haven't gotten a chance.

Re: Caked up gunk in pre-filter box.
So I put some acid tile cleaner in a bucket and submerged the filter in there, waited a couple of hours, blast it with cold water, although it helps, it doesn't get all the gunk out, I took some hard metal brush and scrub the heck out of it and it works, got that thing pretty clean, I only have a big metal brush so I can't get into tight spots, need to get a smaller brush for that purpose.
Thanks guys.
Thanks guys.
